I am not sure what culture you are referring to but let's assume that you mean Muslims, who constitute over 1 Billion people.<br />Obviously Muslims have been horrified by the life and death of Amina Filali. She is our sister. The protests occurring in Morocco and the outrage expressed online also attest to this. What is illogical is the ferocious media hype given to Muslims when they protest Quran burnings, but the absence of an equal amount of humanizing coverage during times like these.sumayyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03436098324244454884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109715235874013082.post-41966630360631674392012-03-16T15:54:05.412-05:002012-03-16T15:54:05.412-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.sumayyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03436098324244454884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109715235874013082.post-91611736582293215452012-03-16T13:21:28.295-05:002012-03-16T13:21:28.295-05:00This is such a sad story. This is such a sad story.Sarah Dohrmannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08467758282277995953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109715235874013082.post-64767611382914061822012-02-07T22:45:13.390-06:002012-02-07T22:45:13.390-06:00Salaam,

Let me break it ...These statistics are meaningless. Let me break it down... In cities like Rabat, the average salary is not determined based upon the nuclear family, but rather, it is based upon the living unit. Often times, a married couple will live with parents and/or other brothers and sisters. Here is how it works, the average income is 100% dependant upon class. There is no real middle class. There are the poor and the working poor... and the upper middle class and then the filthy rich. The poor and working poor make as a oollective family until around 5000 DH per month. The average upper middle class make around 20,000 to 30,000 per month and the Filthy rich make over 50,000 DH per month.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109715235874013082.post-43968740259493810772011-05-10T15:47:41.913-05:002011-05-10T15:47:41.913-05:00I'm curious about these numbers and how accura...I'm curious about these numbers and how accurate they are -- whether there's truly a "spike" from 2008 to 2009 or if the reporting of the number of unwed mothers is a more well-oiled machine than a year ago. I'm also curious what the actual numbers of single mothers in all of Casablanca are, not merely women who have used or been in contact with the association. I think it's important to note, too that the "strong prejudice" against unwed mothers in Morocco reaches far beyond societal ideation about prostitution and into actual legal rights. What's worse is that many single mothers' children will receive virtually no rights as a Moroccan citizen because they do not legally exist. Moroccan laws are not explicit as to a single mother's right to obtain a Family Booklet on behalf of her child, which grants a Moroccan citizen his/her right to obtain a National Identity Card, a passport, a driver’s license, admittance into a hospital, to purchase a home based on credit, to get married, to receive free medical care and other social services, as well as legal aid assistance in courts. Without a Family Booklet, many children do not even have the right to go to school.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2109715235874013082.post-24511711237631191072011-04-29T07:34:18.260-05:002011-04-29T07:34:18.260-05:00Je pense que Mawazine,d'année en année, renfor...Je pense que Mawazine,d'année en année, renforce sa vocation fédératrice de talents, d'hommes et de femmes venus de tous les horizons, elle est l'emblème de la culture, de la liberté, de la tolérance et de la fraternité.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
